Aztec & Fair Isle prints have been appearing on the UK high street for the last few fashion seasons. We’ve seen D&G do it for A/W 2010 followed by Missoni in S/S 11 now the trend has snowballed into A/W 12 with Scandinavian vagabond… think urban winter drifter scavenging heavily printed items from their travels, with hints of aztec, homage payed to fair isle and red indian nuances.
